Hey guys! I recently got my first taco and I’ve been looking into getting new wheels and tires. I’ve been pretty set on pre ordering the rr5-s from relations race wheels https://www.***********************...-centric-toyota-tacoma?variant=31065721372754 with some duratracs 265 75r16. I’m wondering if any of you run something close to a -12 offset and if you’ve had any problems? I hear it can be hard on your bearings and suspension. Thanks for the help!

Pretty sure you'll need to change your suspension or you wont be able to run those. It's the offset that's an issue. And even after a suspension change you might still need to trim a bit of plastic

You on stock suspension? Cause I think that's what he's asking about

I agree here as well with the trimming portion. With my setup, I was able to get by with minimal rub on 285/70/17 and no chop or cut... I guess it would all depend on how much of a size difference the OP is going to from what he currently has.

Yeah cause from what it seems like he's trying to fit those with stock suspension which I pretty confident wont work

Yeah I’m on stock suspension. Is it the offset that will cause it to rub or the tire size?

Mainly the offset. Unless you change suspension you cant really get away with changing to aftermarket wheels unless there around the same offset as stock.

Hmm I know the stock TRD off-road wheels have a +25 offset but a lot of guys run 265 75r16 with 0 offset with no rub

Hmmm might be okay then. Just be ready to trim just a bit at least if you can find those wheels as 0 offset but -12 I really doubt they will work
