    Hi all,

Been lurking here quite a bit lately. So much good info I decided to join.

I’ve had a 2020 TRD OR in quicksand for about a year now. I’ve done a couple trails and now I’m hooked.

I am married with 3 kids and fortunately for me, they have loved our trips as well. So much so, my wife wanted to buy a bed rack and a rooftop tent. Bought the CVT Shasta extended fly and the Victory 4x4 bed rack (still waiting for delivery).

I guess you could say we are getting into overlanding, but without the instagram account, $400 jackets, and camera drones.

I look forward to learning from you all!

Welcome, I imagine it’s a little cozy in that back seat with three kids? Enjoy!

It sure is, haha! They are still small, so it isn’t too bad. The tent situation is a bit different. We tested it out, and the plan is that I sleep in the annex on a cot. I’ve been joking with my wife that I spent 2 grand in a roof top tent to sleep on the ground

Nice truck! Welcome to the community. I a fairly new here myself (even though I have had 5 tacomas!) and have really learned a ton from the folks here at Tacomaworld.

My two girls are 8 & 11, the RTT is like a tree fort to them. I had it for over a year before I had a chance to use it! But they love going on truck adventures, camping, meeting other members and their kids, etc. We use it regularly as a base camp for our MT Bike adventures. Priceless!FEEEA6DD-89BB-4905-850E-E70E8278150F.jpg
