It does, yes. The Mandalorian warrior society stuff is pre-Star Wars, really. I am just getting to the part in the series where they start exploring the Mandalorian arc. The Mandalorian in the Disney+ show is post-Return of the Jedi, pre-The Force Awakens.

I've been really enjoying the show and am looking forward to the other animated shows that piece the movies together and fill in the canon blanks.

Shoot I've been thinking of the timeline all wrong. That's right Yoda did die in return of the Jedi. Does the clone wars have the wars the Mandalore are talking about in the series? I watched the 1st season just a couple months ago and have been watching the 2nd season so far. Like you said there are some holes I'm missing. I liked some of the spin off movies like Solo and the one where they steal the plans to the death star, those helped connect some of the dots too.

No, those are pre-Star Wars tales she (The Armorer) talks about. Trying not to give anything away, but there is a very interesting connection between the Clone Wars animated series in season 2, and the revelations made by Bo-Katan in The Mandalorian season 2 episode 3.

The character in The Mandalorian Disney+ show is The Armorer, btw, not the Mandalore. The Mandalore was the original founder of the Manda'lor people and their society.

Damn, I feel super geeky right now!

^^^ I would love to see some way back prequels where they explore the Mandalorian Wars and early Galactic Republic history. There is so much fodder for new movies, it's crazy.
