1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

One of my cousins started a group text message Thanksgiving chat with the rest of the cousins (I have like 30 cousins on my mom's side), and I don't have any of their names to numbers saved so I have no idea who the F is saying what. This is awkward

I absolutely hate group chats, only one I actually enjoy is with Todd and Sean.

 

Just respond with "what's up cuz..." and "bruh". You'll be good.

I hate them too, especially because you can't just turn them off...I can turn off the notifications for them which is nice but I wish I could just "leave" a chat after I'm no longer part of it, but can't do that at least not on my phone.

I think he means just text message ones, where you can't just turn them off so they constantly blow up your phone with messages. With internet group chats I only see them when I'm logged on, I turned off the email notifications a long time ago.

 

I should turn that email alert off. never really thought about it.

 

If I remember right, back when I became a member I tried turning them off via the settings on the website but it didn't work. I had to use the link at the bottom of one of the emails and that worked

That was like 5 years ago though so I'm sure they fixed it now
