I get glare on my hood scoop, doesn't bother me. I also got glare on my non scooped grand prix when I owned it.

I have zero issues wheeling with a scoop. That's what a spotter is for. o_O

I hear what you are saying, but I test drove both and hated the OR suspension. Like, really hated it. It actually lists in turns. If it weren't for the Sport, I wouldn't have found the Tacoma to be even drivable to my tastes.

Cant argue your preference for which suspension you like, but that’s not what we were debating.

These types of threads should auto result in a ban. All they do is breed discontent among the community.

The majority of the posts have been civil. Not sure how discontent can be drawn from it. If it does then that member should be banned.

with the OR you get ACTUAL functional differences. Sport is just an appearance package.

OR you get the Bilstein shocks, progressive wound coils, smaller diameter front swaybar, gas tank skid plate, elocker rear axle, and if 4x4, a MUCH better braking system requiring half the pedal input to achieve the same caliper pressures which nets you MTS, Crawl control, atrac and overall a much better traction control system.

    Suspension is not an aesthetic.

I am an OEM+ type of guy so no aftermarket upgrades for me, at least nothing major like bumpers or other stuff that will interfere with OEM safety functions.

Correct, but the hood is. As stated already both the Off-Road and Sport come with "upgraded" suspension in their packages. What else did you get for your money except a hood scoop and painted fender flares? AKA aesthetics.

You saw DCSB OR with MT alberta? It must be imported from the states, canada does not offer that configuration.

I get it. There's a hood scoop. Fender flares. My god, the crawl control.

My point is that having 2 different versions of an "upgraded" suspension isn't equal. If you have a preference in the driving quality between the 2, then it's not an aesthetic decision. Is anyone using their crawl control on the way to work? I'm feeling that suspension constantly.

Same here. My buddy had 13 sport and said the glare was horrible, i went: "what glare?"

Not even once i experienced it. Im 5'11", sit pretty far back from the wheel and wear sunglasses 90% of the time. Maybe thats why, who knows?:notsure:

The Off-Road package comes with more then just CC. And yes the 2 difference suspension packages are equal, you just prefer the ride of the Sport and I prefer the ride of the Off-Road.

No, I just hate the aesthetics of the crawl control.

    Working on it ...
Never once had a glare issue. Didn’t even think it was thing. When I first read it here I thought it was a joke.
When I bought my 2019 Sport - new, I was actually shopping for 2020 Off Road to replace the off road I had. It was late December 2019 and the dealers where pretty proud of any of their 2020 Tacoma’s offering offering maybe 1900 off sticker. Kept shopping and found this 2019 Sport optioned just the way I wanted. Only thing was it was a 2019 and not a 2020. Dealer must have been trying to clear out 2019 stock. Trucked list for 43 and change - got for 35+ close to 36. Decided I could live with power front seats at that price and bought it. Never looked back. Comfortable and great truck. I work it too ... and does not break a sweat. Nicest truck I have owned.

Have never looked back. Not even once.
