Took my Mom to the doctor the other day for check up after her foot surgery. We were in waiting room when a lady that I believe was the child’s grandma came in pulling a wagon. There was a little boy in the wagon with the same condition that Parker is diagnosed to have. The little boy was just old enough to be aware of his situation and you could tell the full weight of his condition was obvious to him. Felt so sad for him and his grandma whispered something to him about leaving soon and a tear rolled down his cheek. His head was really big and I pray for him and request that you do the same. Children shouldn’t have to start life like this and I pray God will help him too. Really Pray that Jesus will return soon... I know I’m ready to get out of here. Things like this I have a hard time with. Please pray for this child, our grandchild and children in general. Thanks!

This is terribly sad and really heartbreaking. The only thing I can think of if things don’t work out is that they are innocent and will enjoy eternity in heaven, us left behind will be the only ones to hurt. I hope that I don’t come off the wrong way and really pray for the best for you and your family.

You are obviously an awesome man with an awesome family. God places those children in the hands of people that can care for them.

Absolutely so... I think that’ll be soon for all of us. God has his reasons and I’m cool with that but I’m praying while I can that Parker will receive a God sent miracle. Once she arrives we will endure and love her with every opportunity no matter what. I know a miracle in these dark times would benefit more than Parker. The world is convinced they don’t happen and that is a wonderful reason to ask God for one. It’s in God’s hands and we will remain in Him and His. Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers! May God Bless you all!

Well The Lord is gonna keep us in suspense a little longer. Parker’s head is now too big to be born without a cesarean. Oddly enough doctors don’t seem too alarmed about that and are gonna do weekly sonograms from here on out. I still hope they take her early so that they can relieve the fluid on her brain. I guess the doctors are gonna get together probably after holiday and discuss the problem. If they had went to OKC hospital instead they would’ve probably taken her by now. Can’t believe the difference in medical opinion just one state away. You’d think the medical profession would have this kind of medical condition ironed out as to what is the best way to proceed. Especially given the success that others with this have had by taking the baby early. Hopefully they will do what’s right and God will show them what that is.

Remember, YOU ALL are in our prayers! Thank you for the update.

    Holiday's and hospital's don't play well together.

I can’t imagine the gut wrenching suspense you and your family are experiencing. Medically related issues are always emotional events, but to have a daughter and grandchild wrapped into it only worsens the issue. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. Will be checking this thread for updates.

My daughters water broke last night and they rushed her to KC... haven’t heard a word since. My son-in-law is driving and about an hour out of KC... so no news. Requesting Prayers for Parker and my daughter Lindsey and traveling mercies for son-in-law.

Amen, thinking God has brought her in early (five weeks) to be exact... so her head will be smaller. God by miracle in my book got her from Wichita to KC without baby being brought into world. I didn’t think they’d get up there in time. Doctors are holding off birth long enough to get some steroids in daughter to help babies lungs develop more. Then by cesarean Parker will be born! Sadly she goes straight to surgery to relieve brain of water. Appreciate all your Prayers and anyone else you can get to Pray about it. Praying they’ll all be okay! God works in mysterious ways and does so per His scheduling... and the whole time remains invisible to the unbelieving world. Thanks and God Bless you all!

The Cesarean is supposed to happen ideally around 4 p.m. They gave Lindsey steroids to help Parker develop more before birth. Thanks for Prayers, please say one at or around then! Appreciate you all and God Bless you and yours! Today is the day... glad it has arrived!
