My wife and I were driving around yesterday and spotted your truck. Nice house. Wanna sell? :)

Yes the market is terrible. We sold our house in Lenoir City back in April and decided to rent for a year. We made a ton of money but it's basically a wash because we're going to pay so much more now than we did when we bought it in 2015. It's a great time to sell but an expensive time to buy.

Thats a fact. My better half is in Real Estate, and every house going on the market has offers day 1 if they are halfway decent, and invariably go to multiple offer... You have to be ready to make a snap decision and make an offer when you go to look at a property. Seems stressful as hell.

Can confirm. I bought a house in May. We lost out on several houses that were listed less than 24hrs, even on weekends. The one we ended up with had 3 bids the first day, we came in 2nd, then 2 months later the first persons financing fell through and we got it for our original offer. It was super stressful, you have to be on the ball. We got outbid even when we offered asking price on some places.

Same but in GA, put in offers on 3 different houses never got em. On the final house the lady backed out because it didn't have a fence so I got it for my original offer. Gotta be quick!

Any of y’all have experience with drawers? Looking into buying/making a set for my 4runner to keep all my mountain biking stuff together in but have room for other junk.

The only thing I think that matters is high quality drawer slides that match the weight you plan to have in the drawers and the abuse you may subject them to. There are basic cabinetry concepts you have to build to, but cheap underbuilt drawer slides will make you hate your drawers.

I’m about to move into a house without a garage now. So it would mostly hold all my stuff except my bikes. Gloves, helmets, pumps, small tool kit.

nothing I’d plan to carry would be too heavy. I’m just a little behind on where I’d need to begin with building it. What size plywood would be ideal?

Whats up Tennessee Tacoma gang? I am a long time Tacoma World member, currently in San Antonio, TX. We will be moving to Livingston (just north of Cookeville) in January and I really look forward to meeting some of you all and getting out on the trails there in the great state of Tennessee. If there are any regular meetups in the Cookeville, Crossville, Sparta areas, I would love to know about them.

I’m actually about to build a setup for my 4runner with 2 35”x17”x10” drawers and a sleeping platform.

My plan is to use all 3/4” plywood

if it goes well, could you send me any plans you had for it? Would like to try and replicate someone else vs come up with it myself since I have no woodwork experience.
