*Closed 11/18* G3 Cap Bracket Group Buy - Round 1

You don't have to have tracks on your cap already for these to be usable. I have had a couple people use them without a cap. They just marked out the location they wanted them in and drilled their own holes to mount them. I could see that if you mounted these in your cap and then wanted to add the Thule or Yakima tracks down the road, you would most likely have to make a couple new holes.

What's nice about these is that they should work with any bed size cap. The mounting slots are located based off of the Yakima and Thule tracks because they are pretty universal, either a 42", 54" or 60" length. It's not specific to truck make/model. I did think about making these in different sizes but found that at 52" long it really works quite well for all.

Damn wish I would of seen this earlier. How would it fair on a 6'4 bed for a ram?

 

Should work out well. You can check the dimensions on the drawing in the first post. I have had another person use them in the cap on his Tundra with no issues. It seems the bolt spacing is common through the different size tracks from Thule and Yak.
