He said he would take $360 for both so I'm checking them out this evening and if they are in good condition as described then I will pull the trigger.

Makes sense because I use Rock N’ Roll lubricant on my machine guns.

Doing some research on upgrading my rear suspension when I do my front. Stuck between the Fox Dpx2 and X2. My current shock is a trunnion 185x52.5. But the bike can take a 185x55. So probably gonna step up to that and make the rear travel about 147. I was considering the x2 due to the adjustment aspect so I can really tune the ride with the 160m 36 grip 2. Riding style is East coast mountains. I lean more towards enduro riding. Probably 40% trail 50% enduro and 10% bike park. I’m a buy once cry once person. Thoughts on the dpx2 vs x2?

Sounds like X2 is perfect for you. It’s overkill for just trail but if you say 50% enduro and some park, I would go X2

I don't think you could go wrong with either, which is no help to you. Here is a very recent video that covers some of the pro's and cons. I'm not sure they mentioned the weight penalties much as you get into the "better" shocks.

That’s what I was thinking too. I’d rather be over biked than under. My preferred trails I always end up getting beat up with my current setup. I felt wayyyyy under biked riding at snow shoe this year too and a dh bike is not in the budget.

Well the used racks were in great shape with only minimal wear on one set of the teeth so I got them.

Congrats! Def don’t envy that hoist. Short guy + lifted taco w/topper = no bikes on the roof rack for this fella.

Yep I felt mildly inadequate in the height (5'9") department when trying that the first time. Doing it from the tailgate/bumper was way easier.

I ride 90% solo. Not a lot of fellas are into the kinda trails I like in Boulder.
Coming out to SLC means seeing my old buds, with whom I spent more than 15 years riding bikes and snowboarding. Went for a solid “fun day” ride with them today, riding Levitate (flow and jump trail) and The full Jacobs Ladder (fast DH) trails. Such a great day of catching up with old friends and rippin trails.

I ride solo about 98% of the time too. My buddy came into town last weekend for a couple of days riding. Not the same since his hip replacement but still fun to see him figure out our kitty litter.

Congrats! Be careful after a day of riding and being fatigued. Very easy to drive into the garage forgetting it’s up there. Maybe set up some kind of reminder it’s there. Too many horror stories of crumpling a fine bike from this scenario.
