What's your Tacoma's name Thread

At first I was going to call my truck Thunder and my car Lightning, but after a lifetime of driving little cars the Tacoma shifted to "Big Truckin" and the VW became "White Lightning".

If it needs repair.....then other terms will apply. Strength of the term depends on complexity and cost of repair.

 

"Taco Belle".

 

It’s an irrational emotional bond that some people make. If you don’t understand, then you aren’t made that way and you won’t understand.

I find that the people who have this bond with an inanimate object that they anthropomorphize tend to be more eccentric and obsessive personalities. Which sometimes leads to some really well done builds, and emptier pocket books.

Not to be confused with the rest of the family stable, "the Camry" and "the Ram 2500".

 

I don’t normally name mine, but my wife did accidentally and it stuck.

Normally it's "the truck" but sometimes I get all emotional when I talk about her/him/it (I think it identifies as a truck but it maybe one of the others?) so sometimes I call it "the F'n truck"
You guys are weird

 

My wife calls mine "The Mistress" because of how much time and money I spend on her. I haven't come up with a better name for her yet so the name has stuck

Silver. - hard to argue, it was picked by my 5 year old..

Olivia. Named after the one that got away.

 

That’s what my wife calls my other one.

I think I’m gonna name mine Junko pronounced Jung-ko. Named after the first woman to climb Everest who also happened to be Japanese.
