Tacomods ECT diy relocation kit

I installed Tacomods ECT relocation kit and everything works great except the light on the ECT button stays on with the headlights off but when I turn the headlights on the ECT button lights turn off. Has anybody else has this experience? Is something wired wrong?

 

Sounds like some wires are switched. But I'm no wiring guru. Didju email em back?

 

Thats what I was thinking as well. I did email him. Haven’t heard back but I just sent the message an hour or so ago.

 

If you dont get any help after some reasonable time passing shoot me a few of the wiring pictures and perhaps I can help. I make an ECT add on so I know the pinouts well but I've never seen this specific product. I will certainly try to help with some more info.

 

Will do. Thanks for the help! I’m betting I have to switch some pins in the harness.

 

Ended up messaging Meso and talked it out with him. We finally figured out it was the 2nd and 3rd pin that were switched. I switched those and everything works like it should now. Tacomods is going to send out another harness but my OCD wouldnt let it sit there not working correctly.
