Switch from Load Range C to E

This queston's for anyone who went from a Load Range C tire to a Load Range E tire without a change in tire size. What difference in ride quality was noticed? What was the weight difference in your tire change? What mpg impact did it have. And of course, are you happy with E rated tires?

 

The question is why would you knowingly want to go with an E rated tire unless you had no other option in for your application?

 

I went from LT to E, and I really like the ride, Its firm but not bouncy. Also I was worried that the E rated tires would be bad at airing down but the KM2s bubble like a ballon and I go sailing over the sand.

 

Because I cannot find anything but Load Range E for tires.
