Anyone else have any Defrost/Fog Issues?
I live in British Columbia Canada at its getting cold. I find in the mornings when I start the truck and let it warm up there is no issues with it defogging. When I start driving to work on the highway every single morning its so hard to keep the windows (front & back) from fogging up. I will crack a window at times and this does help.
I have noticed in the pass that dust or snow can get passed the door seals and builds up in the jam on the inside of the door seals. Has anyone had this issue? Also a bit of a cold draft when its really cold down by the feet.
I don't really want to take it to the STEALERSHIP and would rather try a fix myself or even install new rubbers if Toyota will supply them........Thoughts/Similar issues??

Yep. Cool days the inside of my windows are covered in condensation and really cold days frost. A couple cold days a few weeks ago I had frost on the inside of the windows, on the dash and on my rear review. Confirmed all windows were closed and no large amount of snow, water or ice left on my floor mats and same result the day after. Never had this happen to my 2016 Taco. Dealership had no answer for me. Tech apparently checked the rear cabin pressure vent which operated within their parameters. I don't seem to have any wind noise that would be indicative of a bad seal or anything so no clue if anything will ever get done.

Turn on the A/C and run on defrost.

I’ve noticed the same issues with any new vehicle if there’s any amount of water in the carpet. Vehicles must be built as right as a new house and just don’t breathe. Even with the best of floor mats keeping all that snow out is tough, bring a dog to two in and......

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
Is the system set to recirculate or fresh air? If there's moist air inside the cabin and it's set on Recir, cold glass surfaces will fog/frost up.

Keep towels over mats. Change out, when towels get wet (2 sets) solved my problems with that. Much easier than, trying to dry mats.

Keep AC on always with defrost and feet settings. It keeps my Mats dry so I don't have this issue.

I’ve had the same problem the first winter with our 2017, but it was more about learning the buttons and getting the vents aimed right.
I don’t noticed it much now, and it’s been three BC winter later.

It wouldn't hurt to check the cabin air filter to make sure it isn't clogged which could reduce the fresh air flow.
