And then this is the respirator that I wore to my friend’s steak and hoagie place last April, just to be a wiseass; I ended up posted on at least two Instagram accounts!

Sounds like that kid in the restaurant was a real asshat, my guess is he is going to do that to the wrong person someday and end up on the floor.

And let's not forgot that time in 2002 (8th grade), when I was standing at the urinal taking a leak; A group of extremely low-functioning autistic kids from the self-contained special needs class came in to use the bathroom...

One kid, who I remember was named Nick, came up behind me with his pants down while I was still peeing and got right next to me; Big mistake! Purely out of reflex, I spun around and shoved him so hard that he went flying across the bathroom and tripped over his jeans. This happened just a male special ed teacher walked into the bathroom. I don't remember the dialogue between us that day as it was about eighteen years ago, but I can tell you that the teacher had the presence of mind to realize that I hadn't maliciously pushed Nick; Not only did I not get yelled at, but I didn't get in trouble.

I realize that Nick is severely autistic and didn't know any better, and I apologized for what I'd done, but in the heat of the moment all I saw out of the corner of my eye was another guy with his pants down approaching me while I had my own pants unzipped to take a leak. Nick was so severely autistic that he didn't even speak, and he was not hurt; Being pushed so hard that he we went flying across the bathroom and landed on his ass didn't seem to faze him one bit. Autistic individuals, especially the lower functioning ones, have problems with respecting boundaries and personal space; The reaction from Nick's teacher that day leads me to believe Nick had previously had similar issues with other neurotypical students.

Amen to that! But I stopped getting into physical altercations with people when I turned 18; It's kinda like I subconsciously realized I wasn't a minor anymore and could actually be arrested for it!

That is very understandable and a good policy to follow. That idiot is going to have his luck run out and pick someone that doesn't care.

:santa::santa2: I found some previously forgotten Christmas lights in the basement and, well...

Also relocated the wreath and removed the candy cane (99% I was scraping them both on curbs and embankments).

My wife has a 6' bubble long before any masks needed to be worn. Air hugs have been a long time running joke in this household.

Personally, approaching someone to confront about a mask is rather ignorant and takes what "might" happen to the next level. To quote Mike Tyson "Everyone has a plan 'till they get punched in the mouth." I'm just guessing here, but a good majority of Americans have never been shot at or punched in the mouth. These experiences humble a man.

Remember when the drunk driver ran a stop sign and hit my truck back in 2015, and it turned out he'd KILLED somebody while driving drunk in the 1980s? I had many homicidal fantasies about what I wanted to do to that bastard while waiting for insurance to come through; In the end, I hoped that if he drove drunk again and hit somebody's car, that the person it belonged to was either mentally unstable and really muscular, or they had a handgun in the vehicle that they weren't afraid to use...

I've never been shot at or punched in the mouth, but despite my many shortcomings I have enough common sense not to confront perfect strangers over something as petty as not wearing a cloth mask all the way over one's nose!

Since this is a BS thread (and due to my obsession with HVAC, among other things), I'm trying to mix things up a bit...

Here's a 1970s Carrier "Round One" heat pump I saw at a commercial building in Cape May, New Jersey during a family vacation back in August 2010; It was still there as of July 2012 (another family vacation), but I highly doubt it's still there now :(

Good luck getting a new heat pump to last as long as this one!
