If you mean doing it again as like I actually do it again? Then No. I already moved on to Diamondback cover and there plenty of better options than drilling the stock cover.

it’s not a bad setup with the stock cover but I wouldn’t do it again. For one thing you will not be able to sell your stock cover for better price because of the mod. And two the d rings on the back keep prop up when fold so that will def damage the cover even more.

Haha. Yeah, it's a hell of a climb. But it's so worth it imo. It's like this weird techy flow.

Sorry this may not be applicable, I recently bled my code RSC’s and there was a step somewhere in the instructions that said you need to pull the lever halfway back. It was the first time I have ever bled a set but that step did seem to relieve the stiff lever on a sram system.

I'm the opposite. If I'm on my own I push harder it seems. Not that it's necessarily smart. I'm pretty good at setting a pace in a group ride, but I can't seem to pace myself at all.

I ride better when Im in a group setting. Mainly because the stoke and encouragement feeds off one another.

SC gave no timeline but they will replace the frame or voucher of equal value if it fails inspection

“Some aluminum frames were thermally damaged during a non-standard paint stripping operation and may bend or buckle, which could pose a fall hazard”

    I wish I bought a carbon frame instead... :(

I changed out the volume spacer in my dpx2 tonight. Seemed easy enough to just do it while it was on the bike. But, I couldn’t get the canister to reach the threads to thread on. I resorted to removing the shock from the bike to do it. Such a simple shock to work on though. What all did you replace during servicing?

While it’s on recall maybe you can cancel and pay the difference for a carbon one.

Nice! It took a bit of force for me to thread it back on as well so it was easier off the bike. I just cleaned everything, replaced two sets of internal seals plus the main seal that keeps the dirt out, and threw in fresh oil.

Next year I might send it in for a full rebuild to keep it running nice.

So I’m a week out from my tree crash...and this:

    0F78D16B-0BB9-4C85-8128-87CCB4F80898.jpg

    Has become this:

    42752D6E-F40A-449F-931D-BDE6D41BE53E.jpg

Bruise keeps progressively getting worse and if I leave my leg still for like a minute or more the muscle basically locks up like it’s sore from working out. I believe this was an impact of the pedal and the bike to my calf, but man how deep am I bruised...

A few years ago I fell skiing (a fall so mundane I don't even remember it) and a couple days later my ass cheek started turning purple, next day it was down my hammy and into my calf. I'd post a picture but would probably get flagged. The swelling was so bad that I couldn't put stand flat footed on that side for over a week.

Damn! That’s pretty wild. I fell on my shoulder a few years back and I feel like it was similar. Fine the first day or two then the bruise came in and I basically couldn’t move my arm. A week out and it’s probably just a matter of letting it heel.

It royally sucks haha. I thought it was so weird after the crash that this calf hurt the most, since it just had that small scratch on it. Now I guess I realize why. Man idk if I could handle it being my shoulder lol
