It's the exact same wheel, just different dimensions. Same design, same stupid ring, both are faux beadlocks.

"Same stupid ring" preach! I did not think they were the same dimensions. I thought one was 16 and the other was 17. Good to know.

Well since Toyota decided to stop the sale for the trd sema wheels just when I was
About to purchase my own set I'm thinking of another trd wheel anyone running this one on their 3rd gen ?? Better yet anyone know if stock lugs would be reusable or tpm sensors

Yes you're right, but as I recall they only come in gun metal grey and not in black or bronze. They'e also very expensive, can't recall the price but the last time I checked they were over $300 each. I love them, if only they came in black...not interested in painting them after spending $300.

They both look fantastic, it's all subjective. One factor to consider is unsprung weight. Going from 16" to 17" usually means a heavier wheel, larger tires also weigh more as well. It's always a trade off between rock and pavement. Gen3 Taco has adequate power and a heavier wheel/tire set up may result in a little power loss at the wheel however negligible. If off roading is more important to you then go with the 17" and larger tires for better 4x4 off road performance.

Have them on my 2016, had them on my 2013. I originally wanted the grey ones for my 2013, but I couldn't find a set back in late 2012 as Toyota had them SUPER locked down at the time. They've loosened up a ton on them and I was able to grab a set of 5 for my 2016 without issue.

Get the beadlocks and ditch the ring. Sold the rings on here for $40/each.

I have a question. I have a 2019 Toyota Tacoma offroad with the same beadlocks as u and I had them on the truck and they started shredding the threads off of it. Would u happen to know why?? Any help would be grateful. Thanks
