    went from 04B12 to 04B14. I thought it was just in my head that I was noticing a difference haha, glad you guys thought so too.

    Any help? I have to hand over the truck to someone else tomorrow morning. I need to reflash everything back to stock. I didn't realize the OVtune flash manager would no longer work.

    Download vf from ovtune site.

    Open the flash manager located in the install folder.

    Flash the stock file located in the install folder

    What is this "surge" you guys are talking about? I went through about 3 tanks on the SFOB prenium 91 and did not notice anything. Its smooth in higher gears at low rpms.

    Ignore the dump tubes

    Reg OL = Octane Learning, starts with reg gas
    Super OL = same, starts with a higher octane setting
    Premium = you get the idea
    SFob = powahhh!!!!

    Honestly, since this is your first go around, roll with reg OL and see how you like it after a few tanks.

    Reg and Premium refer to fuel/octane.

    Super refers to Full Otto, and it's "super" because it's the titties. Mat's better version of Full Otto version B

    I'm sorry if there's an easy answer to this question somewhere that I've missed. I've tried to read up on this, but all this info has changed so quickly over the past year and old posts get obsolete quickly. I purchased OVTune Flash Kit two years ago and have been running 1.04 for most of that time. I'm trying to upgrade to 2.0. I see that the old school Flash Manager downloads are now dead. Is there any free way for me to download the 2.0 tune or would I have to purchase the $79 vF Tuner upgrade? Also, will that $79 upgrade get me the 2.0 "base file" tune or will I then have to spend ANOTHER $300 on the tune pack? This would be incredibly discouraging if so. Thanks.

    If you have the dongle (small USB key), you can mail it in for a free upgrade. If you were a dongleless kit (reg key), its a $79 upgrade

    this gets you vf tuner and the tune pack for the ecu you request

    if you don’t want to do either of those, then you’ll have to message zendesk for a p5f file as they are not currently available via flash manager.
