Seat swap

Anyone know if the 3 gen seats will fit in my 2009 taco .?

 

I was wondering the same thing ....

I'd really like some nicer seats and mine are starting to show their age.

 

Airbags probably won't be compatible, something to consider.

There's a guy on here whose put BRZ seats in his 2nd gen.

Wet Okole covers help a good bit offer some more padding and comfort as well as cover up any wear or damages.

Rising the back of the seat 1/2-1" helps a lot too.

 

I think they probably do based on the mounting hardware being interchangeable with Seat Jackers- "Tacoma Seat Jackers will fit 2005-2020 Toyota Tacoma's with captain's chairs." While the mounting points appear to be the same, maybe the length of the rails are different but IMO unlikely.

 

I liked my 2012 seats better than my 2017.
