Bsm issue (uncommon question)

So I bought my 17 trd sport in Colorado and I now live back in southwestern Pennsylvania, long story short.. I’ve racked up about 63k miles all over the country, but have noticed the ONLY time my bsm acts up is when I drive Anywhere near New Jersey/New York. (usually on my way up north.. ) now this problem has occurred on about 4 different occasions, but all in the same general area.. it always starts working again when I get a few hundred miles from that area, but it’s got me puzzled!!

Just curious, but has this happened to anyone else?

 

Must be the drivers in the greater NYC area...

Does it happen near or around power plants... nuclear or electric?

Could very well be some electrical interference caused by something in the city.

I had a old car that would die every time I drove near the metal smelting plant.. and another that the right headlight would start flashing, but only on 1 stretch of road in the city.

 

Maybe it’s the Jersey Devil?
