They are needed for a specific bed cover (backflip maybe), could try contacting that vendor, but you’d need to make sure of the right bed cover vendor. IMO they are a terrible idea as they will reduce the load of the rails. But if you need them, then needs must.

minor, TRD skid plate, front recovery points, Regken mud flaps, rear diff breather, AC drain pipe extended. Upgraded sound with active sub woofer, tonneau cover, CB radio.
BackFlip MX4 tonneau cover uses them. As it mentioned in previous post, try to contact vendor and buy from them.

@mountain_Jordan , wondering if you had any luck finding these, or something similar. I'm looking for the same item and when I call then vendor the sales reps say they can only sell me the entire BAKFlip mounting kit for the Tacoma for almost $400. o_O Any information would be appreciated!

Hey @SouthFLTaco, I thought I was going to need them, but they came with the mounting hardware to relocate the rails for my tonneau.. I wasn't able to find another source for them. I had considered going to a fab shop and seeing if they could recreate them? I am guessing that would probably settle out to the same costs when all is said and done...
I'll keep looking and if I come across anything I will send you the link..

The only other ones I can seem to find are the ones for the Tundra..

@mountain_Jordan, thanks for the reply and information!

Unfortunately I didn't buy a cover specifically for a Tacoma. I took my chance and bought a used one from another vehicle with a practically identically sized bed. (We'll see if I can make it work! :fingerscrossed:). I was thinking about having a shop make some of those brackets also, and even contacted a few.

Luckily, I went back to the beginning and contacted BAKindustries (www.BAKIndustries.com) and got a really knowledgeable staff this time who directed me towards how to buy the Tacoma Hardware kit (Item # I got is BAK BK-600 Hardware Kit). It was reasonably priced too, under $60. :spending: She assured me to ignore the photo shown, and that the hardware sent will be vehicle specific, including those relocation "S" brackets.

Despite their notice of orders taking up to 15 days for fabrication, I received shipping confirmation the next day and received it today.

Included mostly everything necessary from the looks of it:

Thanks too all for the help and information... that is why TacomaWorld rocks
