I got in trouble here for evidently spamming. I make some kit parts that make adding bed tie downs to your 2nd & 3rd gen bed easy and painless. I don’t have the post # to advertise. But there are many owners that have bought from my eBay listings.
They are quality made. V or D rings, with or without new bolts. Look for EbStuff or Hollywood Controls on eBay.
    I hope I won’t get banned again.

well you are a new member creating a post about items for sale. There are no photos or links to your products, and you are selling on Ebay... I would say you have a good chance at getting this post deleted.

We have met the threshold some time ago to sell stuff in the B/S/T category.
And the array of ring styles and options we offer seem to be satisfying many Taco owners.

Now we have developed a swivel type ring anchor (similar to the OEM composite mounted rings),
but anchored by the standard OEM bed bolt.
We are interested in determining if Taco owners would like a swivel (360 deg) style anchor
at certain bed bolt positions. Due to the swivel mechanism, they do stand a bit more proud of the
ribs than our standard anchors. Feedback welcome.

Here are pictures of the Cadmium plated D-Ring Swivel Anchor. There are 2 additional pieces added to our standard fixed anchor to allow swiveling.
Third photo shows installed Swivel in Tacoma.

Just an update on this thread for those members who stumble over it. I have tried numerous approaches to make swivel tie-downs work on the bed bolt. None have been reliably successful. Unlike the corner rear swivel ring that has a short bolt through the composite to a backing plate, the bed bolt creates a much more complicated situation. the gusset part of the bed that rests on the frame is held down via compression by a steel tube with ~1" ID, which in turn fits into an opening in the gusset about ~1.3". Normally, the bolt presses the washer down onto the composite bed and steel tube to clamp the gusset to the frame.

To make a swivel work, the small spacer ring must transfer all the clamping force to the washer and then to the steel tube. Even a hardened washer, let alone the OEM bolt washer, will warp under the necessary forces. This makes it unreliable to control the clamping of the bed at the same time that the swivel action is maintained. Too much clamping force and the ring wont swivel. Too little and the gusset will shift at the frame.

For now the rigid tie downs work great, do not rattle and fit all 2nd, 3rd & 4th gen Tacomas, some Tundra and even some Ford F150 beds.
