Has anyone tried installing a 4" coaxial speaker in the tweeter location?, is there enough space ?

I just did the subaru speaker/tweeter mod like every one else here. It's a direct replacement.
I did however add some additional directional JBL tweeters as well to my sail panel on the door and tapped it into the door speakers though. It was such an easy mod, I felt it would be silly not to do it at the time.
