Hello Tacoma Community! I'm new to the site and was hoping to get some help or advice.
I recently got Baja Design Squadron ditch lights and ordered brackets, a Dual Leg Wire harness with a relay, and an OEM switch. I used the wire harness that Baja design provided but it didn't have the relay. After finishing installing I noticed the sign showed up Break Override malfunction but that went away after turning on and turning off the car. Then I noticed a loss of power after driving. SO should I use the Cali raised harness with relay instead? did I blow a fuse? I'm not sure so hoping to get help. I apologize for the long paragraph.

Are you running a relay on your current wiring harness?

No, could that be the problem?

Yeah that most likely is the problem. Other users received Brake Override Malfunction Errors when installing aftermarket lights, pedal commanders, etc.

I will try to replace it with the Cali Raised harness with relay instead then, hopefully, that does the trick. Thanks for your response!
