Any one have pictures of Inferno with a black shell? I have a softopper now but looking to switch to something else, not crazy about the color matched shells they look off to me. I did a search but only found one, I'm sure there are more in the thread but there's a ton of pages to sift through.

hah, well if you were still in Yosemite I'd deliver it to you. Zion isn't a bad destination either though!

So for the topper, I bought it for winter use but it's not good for that, the back panel scratches easily and it's impossible to clean the snow/ice/road grime off. It also cracked the first season also. The inner plastic panel I wasn't using either, but I cut out a section to match the rear slider. Basically at this point I use it w/ out either front/back panel in the summer.

If I did get a hard shell I'd sell this one off along with the tonneau cover. Replacement panels are available and I'd recommend either tinted or mesh anyway.

Yes, there are several examples in this thread of both hardshells and softoppers. You just gotta crawl through the pages when you have about 30 minutes free.

Just upgraded from a Sunfire Red 98 Tacoma to a 2018 SR5 Inferno. Unfortunately my color matched fender flares are extremely pitted from the previous owner living on a dirt road.

My question is, do I remove the flares & get them repainted? Replace them? Wrap them? I'm wanting black flares.

You could spray them with bed liner. Give them a little texture and cover the pitting

Rhyno Liner. I had it done at a local shop. I was worried because of the texture they may not clean well but they really do. The material is textured but the surface is very slick and not much sticks to it. Dried mud and road grime washes off easily. I haven't had any issues with dried mud stain but then I'm anal about cleaning.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
Had the truck offroad a few times in the past couple of weeks. Nice application of trail dirt has to be my favorite mod.

Lots of really nice Tacomas in this thread. Inferno is their best color, by far!

Inferno goes exceptionally well with the red rocks of Sedona on the Broken Arrow Trail.

Its an A.R.E CX Revo cap, I'm pretty satisfied with it. I went and had Yakima roof racks, side windows and remote entry added as part of the package. I've had a few rods brake during transport. I went and ordered the Yakima topwater rod box. That's about all I need for now. Plenty of space left on the rack to load 2x's, ladders etc. Plenty of space in the bed to keep all the random stuff dry.
