Do T-35 and T-37 actually exist?

I say yes. I have hand drivers for each.

But no sockets for my sets.

I have had both size screws on Volvo and Toyota.

Others say the don't exist and just grab a T-30.

What say you SME's and power users? Is there an official list?

I think it was never an "official" size - I mean searching the WWW gives me T-35 which is somewhat rare, but only very few hits on T-37. I think Toyota for one has some awfully sloppy T-30 head screws and the T-35 or even a T-37 fits better. A T-40 just won't do it.

To add to the madness (ha) I have found new "Craftsman" driver sets to really be on the min material condition! So even sloppier fits.

    A thing or two...
No T37 comes up searching on McMaster. The only T35 that comes up is a security bit.

The trans drain plug on my wrx is a T70.

So was mine. Probably won't use the T70 again for anything else!

I found a couple other people using a T37. This may have been a relic from the 1970's. Torx was invented in the 1960's.

CTA makes a T37 security bit.
