I was impressed with my ability to not be tempted by the other mods I saw. I am very much focused on simplicity, reducing unnecessary weight, and keeping the center of gravity as low as possible.

Oh, and tires.. I "need" bigger tires.. ;)

Anyone else enter a picture for the calendar?

    I entered for "other builds"

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...ission-other-toyota-builds-non-tacoma.694521/

I'm sure the white 1st gen will get the most likes. But, I might have a shot at 2nd or 3rd.

I was finally able to order my replacement gas tank skid. Not that I was influenced by anyone else at the meet; the vendor has been SLOW to get his product back in stock and available for purchase on the website.

    Pissed me off honestly.

Honestly, it helped to actually see some of the details of mods I've done, ordered, and am considering - if I can have function and form working together, all the better.

My wife was very worried that I'd be influenced by the group at the last outing to break the bank on mine. I've mostly resisted, but I have spent a few Benjamins, lol

There's not enough left on them to really sell, but too much to just discard. I'll upgrade in Spring, unless the current ones are useless in snow. They did fine on the inch or so we had last week, I'm waiting on a big snowstorm to really know how they will do.

    True...
Well it wasn't Craigslist, but on FB Marketplace I sold an old Jeep Liberty for 3k when the shop said it was done for and offered me $300. I knew he was lowballing me, but I thought I'd get a grand or so. Score!

    Whoa, whoa, whoa! Lol!

34's (285/75/17) for now. I'm keeping the 285/70's as well.

Maybe, in 10 years, I'll go SAS, triple locked, gears, and 37's... Maybe.
