2006 DCSB OR 6 speed

SOLD- for posterity and those looking at trucks, I sold it for $14.5 k including accessories listed.


I have owned this truck for about a year and a half. Have picked up some coronavirus projects (mini cooper S) and this has been getting driven less. Don't need to sell, but don't need to keep either.

-Currently has 146k miles
-Off road with rear locker
-6 speed manual transmission
-Frame replaced about 3 years ago
-Clutch replaced by dealership at same time as frame, approximately 20k miles ago.
-Tires new when I bought it (10k miles - E rated )

I bought this with 136k miles for 14k. I haven't added up my receipts, but I'm guessing if I did they would be 5-6k and I think you will agree that I managed to get a lot done for 5k.

I am looking to sell for 15k. If there is stuff you don't want (like the topper) we can haggle it out

During my ownership:

-3 oil/ filter changes
-air filter changed twice
-new spark plugs
-Power steering flush
-Coolant flush
-all other fluids changed, including diffs and trans
-New calipers, ceramic pads, brake drums, shoes
-U joints changed, carrier bearing done
-Driver side needle bearing done
-1.75 lift on OME shocks and springs
-All idlers, tensioner, belt changed out
-Shift bushings refreshed
-Whole truck rust proofed (por 15, woolwax, fluid film), sound deadened all doors and back of cab
-Axles rebooted, power steering boot and seals replaced

Lots of extras:

-Leer 100xq topper
-Tacoma OEM bed mat
-Rhino Rack 48in x 60 with low profile k9 mounts
-Spare 4x4 actuators and switches
-Bluetooth stereo and mic with touch screen and wired carplay
-Bird dog mirror riser
-Rear seat spacers to change seating position
-AJT climate and 4wd knobs
-Hurst shifterknob (modded with epoxy-sits a little lower than stock)
-Bag of parts and tools that go with truck- needle bearing puller, probably 3-400 worth of random stuff like key blanks, key remotes, whatever)
-Truck tent that allows you to sleep in the DCSB with the tailgate down.



Truck also has a few unfinished projects.

-Katzkin leather heated seats. Installed front passenger but have the whole set and original seat covers. If its important that it's finished or put back to original, we can talk. I planned to dye them as they are beige in color (leatherique.com)
-Avital Remote start unit (uninstalled, but included)
-amidemon bumper brackets and recovery shackles (uninstalled and included)
-TSK throwout bearing (included but uninstalled. TOB in truck chatters, but clutch is so new and feels great so I couldnt bring myself to do it).
-Topper in white, I had planned to paint it silver or have it done

Hey thanks! I think the bits that can usually be rusty on these have all been tended to on this one! New frame and I have obsessively tried to rustproof duringmy ownership

 

Couple frame and other condition shots. Overall: frame was replaced and it looks almost new since it has been fluid filmed and cared for. Surrounding components show some surface spots, but have been treated as well in a way that hopefully doesn’t conceal anything.

How does she do on gas with the 6 speed?

 

meh- my 08 4runner with the auto got about 20 around town and 22-23 on the highway. The tacoma 6 speed is more like 16 town; 18-19 highway, maybe did 21 on an all highway tank babying it.

 

How much would you sell for w/o the topper?

 

Not much less- if someone makes a real offer I will consider it, but it needs to make sense.
