Waiting on all my stuff to come in and hoping to knock it out before it gets too cold. The front springs are coming assembled.

I figure maybe 1 hour for each corner plus another hour for the ECGS? I mean the front coilovers seem pretty straight forward - unbolt swaybar, unbolt LCA, drop coilover out then repeat in reverse for install.

AALs seem a little trickier but still not too hard. Seems like it can be tricky and a bit tedious with clamping and unclamping, reclamping, aligning crap and whatnot.

I figure the needle bearing will take 2 hours fish. ECGS seems fairly straight forward - take off 35mm axle nut, pop out ball joint, unbolt the two 19mm on the bottom, swing rotor out of the way, figure out how to get the CV out of the diff, I'm planning on hammer with a pry bar (supposedly rotate a 6th turn if its not moving until you get the C clamp in the magic position?) Pulling the bearing, tapping in new bearing and reinstalling everything.

So I think it should take 6ish hours so maybe I'll plan for 10ish? Should I do front or rear first with the understanding that I'm working outside and if a storm pops up on Sunday I might not get back to it for a few days. Maybe do the front end in 5-6 on Saturday and then finish up in 4ish on Sunday? Front end first risks having a bro lean for a bit, but should get the real crappy stuff out of the way. Rear first risks a pretty gnarly rake for a bit. Neither way is terrible, IMO.

The front end is pretty easy. For the leafs get yourself a couple good c-clamps, it will make life easier. I don’t know if you ordered shims or not, but keep in mind you may need them so don’t buzz your excess ubolt off until you take a test ride. I put the ecgs bushing in the freezer over night, it went in fairly easily with a bushing driver set. Goodluck

I guess just for a point of reference i had never done anything like a suspension install before and had barely worked on cars, like 1 or 2 oil changes type of experience. I installed the exact same setup as you. I did the rear in about 4 hours and the front in about 3 hours. Also I did it all by myself, a second set of hands would of really helped ha. I had @Superdave1.0 do the ecgs bushing for me because the difference between his install price and me buying the removal tool was worth saving the headache.

I have a carrier bearing drop kit that I may try first if I develop vibes. If that works I may still go back and do axle shims on a nice day when I have time.
