I recently installed a Warn Evo on a C4 Low Pro Bumper where I relocated the control box. I have been getting a ton of questions/emails on the brackets I used. These brackets work amazing, they are the perfect fit in terms of length and design. The 2 areas where they mount are at different heights. The bend in the bracket levels the heights on the rad supports. I imagine they should work with any flat bottom control box. New holes to match the control box bolts do have to be drilled in.

Install video here showing the brackets go to the 2:58 mark on the video.

Here is a link to the brackets-- https://cutt.ly/OhlGa3M

Here are some pics so you can search locally. I picked these up at Truevalue Hardware.

@gregnauman how are the brackets attached to the truck frame/bracing? You drill a hole and use nut and bolts or a self tapping screw?

I found the bracket in black at Tractor Supply last night.

Classy Taco and I both used a self tapping bolt.

Cool you found them in black. What was the part number?

But, they won’t work with the HF APEX 12000 winch. The control box is too big to fit in the area you put your in without modifying the box and I won’t do that. I see in a couple truck above your install that have same winch with controls still attached. So it must be a way to get it in there?

I tried it and it did not fit. I wanted to leave it attached but it seems the newer warn VR EVO 10s winch box is a little bit taller I guess. Even after the SSO recommended cut it wouldn’t go.

SSO had slightly cut the support bracket in a video recently on YouTube and showed it would fit, but it still would not fit. So I just mounted it like classy tacos did.

Did you bolt down both brackets with a tap bolt?

Update: I lied. I bought this pack on Amazon which appears to be the same. They worked like a charm thanks to the video provided by @ClassyTacos.

I used a Relentless Fabrication front bumper and the stock length control box wires on a Warn VR EVO 10. The lack of slack on the wires made drilling the second bolt home a bear but it's doable with some colorful language.

Thanks for the tip on the brackets. Found them at Ace Hardware and as you said they fit perfectly on the radiator support. Good work!

I know this is a little bit older thread but my winch will be here later in the week. Did you guys have to buy one of the Warn control box relocation kits? Or were you able to move the control box without spending $100+ on their kit(s)? If you did buy one, which one did you get? Thanks!
