    Warranty period is over and they didn't insure their warranty to extend the protection plan into the 15% they could have saved by switching to Geico

    Probably not far off. They actually have a battery warranty, but it's expired. SAD!! Currently had it charged and now running it till the red light goes on to indicate less than 15% juice remains. I'll compare that to the stated run time and also have another new battery to test it to see how bad this one is. How much, you ask, is a new 56v 7.5ah battery? Good question class! Around $400

    We actually have a few Ego items and love them, but no mower. Trick is to only buy them when batteries are included and a bonus if you get an extra one thrown in free. The batteries are stupid expensive, but we have 4 between our items so we never worry about running out of juice.
