01-04 double cab fender flares??

Help anyone I've been all over and im not finding anything for us with 1st gen 4door I really would like the cut out style from bushwacker but from what I've read they are only for 2 door or extra cabs... does anyone know if there is anything out there that will fit and cover or use the existing fender holes?? Thank you for your help the truck is waiting for parts and I want to get back to driving it again before the snow is here

 

Fender flares should be the same for reg/ ex/ cab. Double cab flares get real close to the front of the bed in the rear, that could be the issue. Get the specs and measure the truck

 

Well I already ordered from bushwacker part number

$579 31911-11 | Fits 1995-2004 Toyota Tacoma 4WD w/ 6.2' Bed

31911-11 and says its for my year truck but they don't come up high enough to cover the actual fender holes when the facroty plastic clips go I just can't believe there are no aftermarket fender flares for the 4 door how could it be that different??....

 

I can confirm that the flares from a x-cab will work just fine on a double cab, no difference.

 

Ok I will try again maybe they sent me the wrong parts ... its kinda wierd every website says not for double cab

 

Maybe the Bushwhackers are bigger in circumference than stock, thus going beyond the edge of the bed. The stock ones are very close.

 

Thank you for the help and info I am going to order today and hopefully everything goes well the cut out ones are on sale and hopefully will fit around the snorkel also ... I'll post some pics on here after I get them in so other double cabs can see of it works

 

Thank you all for the replies I did get the new bushwacker 31919-02 cut out style and they do indeed fit the 01-04 double cab and completely cover the holes in the outbside of the fenders i believe this is the only option for plastic fender flares now my only issue is to trim around the snorkel its about 2" to close i will post pictures when I get this done and hopefully this will help someone else I can also say these are definitely worth the 400$ and came in 2 day shipping from bushwacker

 

Any chance you’d post a photo with your Bushwacker flares installed? I’m in the same boat - 1st Gen 4-door in need of new flares. Were there color options?

Thanks! Those look great and I’m about to hit the add-to-cart button on Bushwacker’s site. I’m not seeing them any cheaper elsewhere. Did you trim metal to increase your tire clearance?

 

I think you have to cut the steel no mater what it was in the instructions as part of the install you will need a drill and reciprocating saw and if you have it aa angle grinder it's actually easier than I was expecting
