Hi, I'm CowboyTaco and I have an addiction to TacomaWorld. That's how these things work, right?

Rather than posting up deals, like @Tibetan Nomad did over here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/black-friday-2020-covid-edition-check-page-1.693208/

Let's see the aftermath of that great thread. This is the off-topic section of the forum, so general discussion and BS is welcome. About half of the stuff I ordered has arrived.

IFS, mid and xfer case skids in aluminum:
    upload_2020-12-2_7-57-2.jpg

I didn't take a picture of the speakers and the amp hasn't arrived. Also waiting on the 12volt.solutions remote start to arrive.

This will be the 1st year I didn't buy 1 thing during any of these sales, and there are some good ones.

Sadly the Taco was left in the dark this year. I bought a few things for my series 80 land cruiser instead; paint (monstaliner - dropped it off to a friend to spray it this week), cup holders from BH3D printing, these massive KM3s pictured below and paint for my sliders that have been sitting in the floor for a few months.

Still on the hunt for exhaust reroute and a slee rear bumper.

Maybe next year the Taco will get some more love, she's pretty decked out now for my taste any way... SDHQ hidden winch mount with a warn zeon, bud built rock rails and some KO2s.

Last year was pretty epic too. It was when I realized I needed to save up for this year :D

Yeah, I am still on the fence of keeping it or selling it. So next year will be a good shopping experience.

Luckily my better half was happy with most purchases since they’re going on the GX460 she “drives” (even though she’s been working from home and I can’t remember the last time she took it anywhere lol)

    Purchased:
Dobinsons IMS 2” lift for GX
    Prinsu rack for GX
    Prinsu rack for Taco
Baja Design S2 Pro’s in white for the GX
Caliraised ditch light brackets for both
Balsam Hill Christmas tree for the house :D

    Total bill: Priceless

Big ones are King suspension, SSO bumper w/winch, Pelfreybuilt sliders.
I got a set of dobinson leafs for the rear. Think that's all I can afford for now. But I might pull the trigger on some katskinz...:annoyed::spending:

I did pay my guitar builder, to get going on this beast. This was the last one he built for someone.

    Bilstein 5100 Front+Rear $348
    Firestone Ride-rite Air Bags $138
    Daystar Airbag Cradles $65
    Du-Ha Tote and Slide $331
    Rockpals 500W/520WH Power Station $350
Iceco JP40 Fridge + Slide $546 (fyi they owe me $37. I couldn't get the 5% bundle price + 20% BF coupon codes to work together. He said that he would refund me the difference. I sent him the email with the order # and i'm waiting for their reply for 3 business days now.)

    Total: $1815

I am typically careful with my money, but the sales were good. I sold my custom freeride Yamaha Superjet in October and used the money to get into this truck and mods. After it's paid off i'll buy something economical and keep this as the adventure/work/boat towing truck. I want to see if I can keep this for 20 years. I already coated the entire truck with Fluid Film.

No significant other to worry about. So the next mods are a solar panel, washdown pump, and air compressor.

Follow up again. Lu (the guy who seems to run ICECO) is slow to respond. I know someone else who had a similar thing where they were to refund a portion of money. It did happen. I'm pretty sure I have his cell from when he was running the Group Buy over on IH8Mud. I can PM it to you if you need. (He uses it for business, so it's not like you'd be blowing up a personal device)

Well, the better half hasn’t been informed yet so I will have to report back on her reaction. Bought a few goodies, some Bilstein 6112/5160s and about all the parts I need from Aero Precision to build my new AR15 SBR. Just need the upper to come back in stock now. I may put them under the tree with my kids stuff from Santa. Her face will be priceless and she wont be able to get mad!

I got all-pro leaf springs, front bilsteins with eibach coils, spa uca's, and some hardware on wheeler's 15% off deal. Saved a few hundred bucks, but still blew about half of my savings from work. Figured I'd treat myself since I found out I was awarded a Marine ROTC scholarship and will be able to pay for college :bananadance:
