I have a very firm no eating, no smoking , no drinking unless its water in a bottle rule in my truck. Dont like it then walk. People get mad when I tell them to remove there shoes before getting in. Just kidding about the shoes but the first three are definitely enforced.

You can buy bumper caps to cover the crack.

My suggestion would be dont let ur gf eat that kind of food in your truck, only snacks.

I got into an arguement with mine because i wouldnt let her eat indian food in my truck, waaaayyy too saucey and smelly to risk a spill

Edit: also my current AND previous gf would somehow kick the shit out of the door below the handle because they’d sit on their foot and their foot would rub the door. Now i have scratches there.

I love it when people come back at me with the logic being that I don’t hesitate to take the truck off road so it’s going to get the shit beat out of it anyway. I guess it makes sense if you’re a lazy POS who wants an excuse (other than the real one) to treat your vehicle like a trash can.

Back in high school a girlfriend of mine spilled a 16oz cup of coffee with creamer, which made my car smell of rotting french vanilla for months; broke up with her shortly thereafter. With my wife now, she knows she can't eat or drink anything other than gum or water in any of my vehicles. If she feels the need to eat or drink, we take her car instead.

I keep the back seats folded down full-time so I have a plastic platform to set groceries on. But who has the time or shoulder mobility to reach all the way back and set the drive-thru bag back there?

Driving home from the dealer in the most expensive thing I have ever owned that wasn't made of wood and cement (this truck) a dump truck passed me and crack a rock hits the windshield -- 15 miles from the dealer. Dammit... New (to you) vehicles attract hazards it seems. :annoyed:

As an option....you could place the bag of food in the center console. Drink in the cup holder......shouldn't need to reach very far.

Unfortunate as that may be, shit happens. That doesn’t bother me nearly as much as chocolate stained seats sticky with spilled shakes and a couple months worth of dirt, wrappers and old tissues on the rugs.

I don't need access to it while driving, I quit eating while driving years ago.
I enjoy eating, and I enjoy driving. Each is its own experience that I prefer to enjoy separately.

Not even a month in with my purchase and my lady is storing empty coffee mugs in the center console like it’s some kind of Easter egg hunt. She stores her resistance bands in any cubby hole that fits :frusty: buttt so far she has driven it well.

OP. Good luck, we all deal with this! Definitely look at seat covers and rubber floor tubs!

Yep. I was treated to a nice door ding a week into having my truck by some BMW douche in the Costco parking lot.

My wife and daughter each have their own cars. My wife has a loaded Rav, and my daughter just recently bought herself a really sweet ‘19 Camry. They don’t drive my truck, ever. There are multiple and good- very good - reasons for that, and they are both well aware of them. . .

Geez dude, get rid of her. Problem solved. Trade her in on a newer model girl.
Only time my wife drives my truck is if I need a DD from the bar.

And there was no reason for it either other than they are a loser. The local Costco's have large parking spots.

And no matter how far away in an empty parking lot you try and park, some asshat always comes and parks right next to you
