So I just purchased a 2021 Tacoma trail edition. This is my third Tacoma but the first one I've had any issues with. I never test drove it because I didn't think I needed to. Picked it up Friday night Monday morning strait to the shop. They replaced the rear drive shaft assembly, test drove it and said it was all good. The body shake and steering shake were gone, however I still noticed a small amount of vibration. Anyone else having these problems? Should I bring it back am I being paranoid?

Actually saw it on a dealer web site, they didn't even have it yet. Truck was in transit and never had any problems with any Toyota I've owned. Fourth Toyota and third Tacoma. I knew what it would drive like, didn't realize it would have to diagnose mechanical issues on a brand new truck.

Go test drive other Tacoma’s to see if the vibrations are the same. If yes, then it’s normal. If not. Then you got a vibe problem.

    4 run, 2 don't
In some states, that's grounds for allowing a buyer to return a vehicle and unwind the entire purchase.

I needed 6spd manual and DC , so it was either pro or sport. Easy decision. 60k for a pro? No thanks.

I think this is your best bet. You’ll end up feeling better about yours being normal or you’ll confirm that you have an issue. Really sorry you are dealing with this so soon.

    Same.
    I had two 1st gen, a 2nd gen and wanted a 3rd.
Just had to sit in the cockpit for a minute to make sure the ergonomics worked.
Drove it from the lot across the street to the main building and signed shit for four hours.

    No problem.

If TW has taught me anything it's that people who don't do any research often end up on internet forums bitching.

This is my 2nd 3rd gen, dealer was very nice and fixed what they found wrong. Just seems like there might be more to the problem or it is what it is. I'm just really unsure of the situation.
