Saw one small buck today. He came by with his nose on the ground and grunting; tracking an imaginary doe I guess:notsure:

    Edit: have tags, will hunt.

Some trail cam pictures in. 5 bucks I would kill. Only one looks 3.5 or older but I might be wrong. Headed into the same spot I have sat the past while and getting more aggressive with where I am sitting. I figure if I spook them out I plan to hunt another area the next few days anyway.DB8E32CC-107D-4609-A189-AEEC12E290E5.jpg C2BA49B4-649F-43A4-B63B-A448785C5E30.jpg 22E10F49-6DBF-4C70-B472-47C10053F4BF.jpg C99793AA-BBC3-4F2D-964C-0178EAD370B7.jpg

Yep I would love to see that deer. He only came through one time but this is the spot I’m probably headed to tomorrow. Moved the camera a bit to hopefully catch different and a second will go out soon. Guy I talked to yesterday morning showed me a pic of a recently deadhead on the other side of the tract that was about the size of that buck as well but he was a 10 instead of a 9

Saw the same buck I did two nights ago. Sitting on the ground and he came from the same area but the wind is swirling bad and he stopped at 60 and turned around.

No shot once again. Watched this dude feed for 45 minutes. When I left the parking lot there were 2 other guys getting ready and I told them where I planned to set up and one guy said he was going to hunt right there and was pretty pissy about it. I ended up going in another few hundred yards. The buck I saw started to head down a trail to where I planned to set up and where I assumed the guy was after feeding and I grunted at him then he ended up spooking off. Not my most upstanding moment but I’m pretty annoyed he was so adamant about setting up there when I was the one that was leaving the lot first. That is public land I guess. I’ll try to get him tomorrow. 0F80EB43-EBA8-473A-8CAD-B6E52DA27534.jpg

What’s everyone’s thoughts on Bear Archery ? I might be buying a new bow at some point since my Mathews was stolen last October. I used my old old Bear One this year but .... it’s old . The Bear line of bows seems very affordable too. Ready to shoot . RTS
