Mods, you can close or delete this thread if you want. I had started another one in the 2nd gen forum but thought it would get more interest here. Here's the link to the other thread Does anyone know the difference between 4.0 and 2.7 fuel pumps? | Tacoma World

I'm seeing the Denso part numbers for the pump for the 2.7 as 950-0203 as just the pump and for the 4.0 V6 as 950-0210 which also matches the 4.7 V8 fuel pump. I would think the the V6/V8 fuel pump needs to have more volume to feed the extra cylinders and hp but I can't find any real world flow numbers. Some online calculators show around 64 lph for the 4 cyl at 160 hp and 86 lph for the v6 at 215 hp. So my guess would be the V6 fuel pump 950-0210 (v6 pump) or (77020-04061 v6 fuel pump/filter/bucket assembly) flows a bit more than the 2.7 4 cyl 950-0203 (4 cyl pump) or (77020-04071 4 cyl fuel pump/filter/bucket assembly). If anyone has any real world numbers to verify this information it would be great to see or hear about.
