    2021 V6 Access cab
    Hi All,
Thanks for the ad to the forum. I am in the middle of making a deal on a 2021 Tacoma SR5 Access cab with the 3.5 V6. I have been a Chevy 2500 owner for most of my adult life but at this point, I do not need a big truck any longer. I am also tired of the bodies on the domestics rusting out and I believe Toyota bodies will hold up better. I live in upstate NY. I am also looking forward to better fuel economy. I love the styling an feel of the Tacoma. I believe the 3.5 is adequate but its not a powerhouse. It will be sufficient for me. The dealer is installing a new 7'6 Boss stainless snow plow on it.
My main concern is I have a 14 foot V-nose snowmobile trailer that weighs 2,000 lbs. empty. Cargo will be 2 sleds weighing in at around 1,000 lbs. for a total of 3,000 lbs. Tongue weight I'm guessing at 300 lbs??? I do not trailer them that much (4-5 times a season) and not all that far. While I am confident the truck will pull it ok, I am concerned how much the rear end will sag. Are there any solutions to this? Load levelers? I really don't want to do any major modifications (airbags).
    Thoughts??
    Thanks
    Mark
