Im starting to get a squeal again. lol! it has been making a nocking sound, but that may be internal gear lash noises being amplified for what ever reason from the new throw out bearing design. glad to hear yours is solid.

That's solid! I ask cause most of the dudes in the manual tranny fix thread that dont have issues are only reporting a couple hundred miles. Did you have a shop bleed it? Install yourself?

Pressure bleeder, or old fashioned pump and squirt method? Also, did you bleed the brakes as well?

I have thousands of miles on mine as well. I had a shop install it, just a general automotive repair shop. No observable leaks. Though it may be a little inconstant on engagement, probably temperature based. Still overall happy with it. Along with the Kevlar clutch.
I know it was brought up that the Audi community had been burned by Clutch Masters so they tend to steer away from there products.

I’m running the URD throwout conversion and recently roasted a throwout bearing from an alignment pin migrating out. No clue was happening. Found it while Swapping the slipping stage 2 for a stage 4. Only had about 15k on the clutch so lucky I went in. During this time I found gadget wasn’t making the conversion anymore while I was chasing a bearing down. I did see however that LC engineering is making one. Anyone try it out? I used LC years ago for all my 22re stuff. Was great quality

I see LC is selling the Clutch Masters unit. Is that what your referring to?

Any of you guys with the issues from the clutch masters kit know exactly what the common problem is?

I'm glad they wised up and put it all on one sticker compared to the TRD version stickers. They dropped the ball yet again though because they should had just put the CARB EO information on it so it's all on one decal.

Leak at the hydro bearing seal is the bad issue. The other issue is inconsistent/changing pedal feel possibly due to heat on the hydraulic lines (and/or problems getting a proper bleed).

I think I noticed changing pedal feel only one time as I usually don't drive for long periods of time. Clutch break in may have been a factor.

Only have about 900 miles on mine so far. Used pinch clamps on the hoses near the reservoir (shared with brake fluid on my truck) and capped the lines at the end when installing parts and bled myself using a chunk of wood. Must have gotten a good bleed due to minimal fluid loss I'm guessing.

Hold up, driveway sc install? Shouldn’t you take that to the dealer so you don’t void the warranty?
