That's a great idea. Got a link to the clamps? I have an intermittent clunk coming from my springs and this might fix it

    Edit: found it

From Canadian Amazon. As long as they look kinda strong they should be good. The top plate bent on mine a bit when tightened. I searched for leaf spring clamps. Screenshot_20201203-171308.jpg

I work at the dealer up the road from you, do ever want a lead on a 3rd gen suspension if we have one to sell?

South Pointe Toyota? Nice! Don't come across too many fellow Calgarians on Tacomaworld.

That would be pretty sweet, I'm kind of on an unemployment budget right now but I have been keeping an eye out on third gen suspension. I'd like to get a mild 1" or so lift which it sounds like the third gen gear would do.

I just bought a bed mat from there about a month ago.

I assumed north because of the hail damage. Im at CHT. I get the money situation but I'll check back if we ever get a cheap replacement.

I like the idea but at the same time I don't lol. Would be a lot of work I'd rather do elsewhere on the truck. Maybe someday though (you may have planted a seed in my brain).

The list is constant and neverending

We got hail damage in the south, just nowhere near as bad. I used to park my truck at the airport for weeks at a time for work and it had some damage from those periods of time as well.

    Appreciated dude!

Also, due to the lack of votes on naming my truck I have decided to name it "the truck with no name".

I like your new poll, lol.

I had another idea for a name for your truck. 'the insane project daily'. If you don't like it I might use it

Your truck is more insane than mine so it probably suits it better. You'd have to play cypress hill "insane in the membrane" as your theme song.

Actually Bam Bam is kinda growing on me so the one vote may count after all.

I made some sort of crust punk redneck rockabilly redneck nutcracker. Don't know how festive he is other than he obviously likes to party.

Toyota related because he has a TEQ hat and the brim is a cut off chunk from my cut off mudflaps from my truck. All cuts and shaping of hat done with an angle grinder for true redneck status.

Long story - when Annie (wife) and I had our first Christmas in our new home I saw a giant inflatable redneck nutcracker at home depot. She wouldn't let me buy it lol. So I swore to make my own and bought a chewed up nutcracker on sale at Canadian Tire years ago. Finally got around to doing it up this year.
