I'd been thinking about building one for a while, but between having issues fitting all the stuff and dogs in the truck, and the fact I like to get camp set up early and then go explore, I built a trailer. Plus COVID project and something to do. I decided to just build it from a basic 4x6 utility trailer because I didn't want to have to deal with the DMV.

It handled fine, despite being a little tall. It needs a little more weight in the bed so I might add something else in the bed. I just don t want it tipping on me in a slope.
As far as amenities, it has lots of lights, a pump to a water heater, a propane rack, and soon to come, a tee off sytem to run the pump straight to a hose, and an inverter. Everything runs off of some big truck batteries that charge off a solar panel.

Like I said, it still needs some touch ups and a couple important upgrades, but it's on its way. It's not perfect but it's got a lot of work and love put into it.

Looks good. After having many different trailers, homemade, M416, tent, Etc.. This will hopefully be my last one for awhile. I ordered a 5X8 cargo and I am in the process of "fixing" a few things.trailer.jpg

That's gonna be awesome man. I wanna make a new one now. I'm at enough of a breaking point that I've swapped back to working on the truck for now. By the time I get back to the trailer I'm sure I'll probably wanna start over.
