    Do better :luvya:

I'm mostly just giving you shit. You have a definite passion for working on things and continue to grow your knowledge and I respect that. Sometimes you are wrong. That's OK. You are becoming a better man every day you work on chit and tackle new projects

yesterday... Or the day before last now I was going to weld my school project when my instructor told me to stop what I was doing, not weld it, and clean it up

I was the first person in my class with their project ready to weld, thats because my partner (covid schedules crammed a semester in a couple weeks individual projets under normal circumstances turned into group projects for the cram) didn't do anything the first day, didn't show up the 2nd, and was dropped the 3rd

It was soo well layed out and preped he decided to clear coat it and keep it to use as a demo, I didn't even finish and he told me to turn it in... Saved me a day of welding

What GPU is attached to that riser cable? Trying to help my buddy snag a 3070 for his build but that could be a while it looks like.

Yeah the sneaker game and GPU game have become one now. I might loan my buddy a RX470 or GTX 780 I have lying around. Stop him from buying an overpriced card until they return to MSRP.

Fuck me, I was woken up at 6am by all my smoke alarms in the house going off. No smoke tho, house isn't on fire. There are 6 smoke alarms thru the house and I can only reach 5 of them. Need a 10 or 12 foot ladder for the 6th but fortunately, that one is dead. Now to figure out why the fuck they were all going off. They aren't CO2 detectors and I always have the fan in my bedroom running so that wouldn't be an issue anyhow.

They aren't carbon monoxide detectors, only smoke. So it musta been ghost spiders.

Looking at probably going with Nest Protect. Their product is both carbon monoxide and smoke detecting and has an app so they can be silenced from your phone and it tells you what the actual problem is. Expensive but I might just do it. All the reviews I see on Kidde, which is what I have now, say that frequent false alarms are common. One false alarm like I just had is enough for me. I like my sleep.

Yeah, they are. Oldest are from 2000, newest from 2012. It was the newest one, in my bedroom, that triggered them all.

I know, they are supposed to be replaced every 10 years. :anonymous: I've only been in the house for a year now, so hadn't gotten around to it.
