A longshot, but has anyone used an RPi interface on their truck?

Just got notification that these were back in stock: https://www.tindie.com/products/tjd/carpihat-raspberry-pi-car-interface-pcb/ and wondering if anyone has used them in their truck, and if so, what did you do with it? The obvious MP3 player comes to mind, but it also has a CANBUS interface, so with proper programming you could potentially use it to drive meters for temp/pressure/status, etc.

I made an Arduino based setup in my other truck with a CAN bus shield and display. Just used it as a custom display for OBDII parameters and the like. Eventually traded it out for an ultragauge just for simplicity.

I'm currently working on a nicer dash display for the current Toyota signals that live on the CAN bus as well as extra instrumentation that I'm adding.

Beyond this type of monitoring the only thing useful for something like this is to turn it into a control interface of some sorts but there always seems to be better and simpler options for doing that.
