Installed today. Decent little power bump between 4-5k rpms. loud rasp during acceleration but you wouldn't know it was there while cruising.

Im gonna keep the stock muffler for now, need to research the mufflers with the least drone.

Overall I'm happy. appears to be good quality. hardware was legit also. install was easy. Fitment is great.

i installed the mkii ypipe a few months back. love mine. nice power increase, but no rasp though. it does however change the tone of whatever exhaust you have installed. like it made the barely audible trd pro exhaust more aggressive, which im enjoying. i am planning on changing the pro exhaust for a widowmaker in a few.

keep Vibrant resonators on your radar if the drone or resonance needs tempering.

if you choose sound quality, keep your TRD muffler. if you choose performance over sound, get the hell rid of that thing. that particular muffler is awful for performance. once you remove its restriction you'll see what i mean.

@su.brat: i know bro. im definately venturing down the performance route for sure. i think what im hinged on is basically i just bought this expensive pretty exhaust a couple months back and the whole thing is gonna get replaced just like that LOL. im probably gonna keep it for a month or two more then hit the ground running come jan; by then the novelty would have wore off, i can get my new exaust and cut the black chrome trd tip off the pro exhaust to utilize on the new setup and not even feel a thing about it. that SHOULD also put me closer to my supercharger timeframe as well. right now im bouncing back and forth if its gonna be mag or urd.

Well install is complete. No issues. No clearance issues. No CEL. No leaks. I don’t hear any drone at all. I could not be happier. Thanks @Gadget@URD!

When I first installed mine I thought there was no way it was gonna fit. Getting all the angles lined everything went in just as it should. Now I gotta modify my skids to work because of the trans crossover though.

TRD Exhaust. Still very quiet in my opinion but doesn’t sound as restricted as before.

I have the urd y pipes with a Borla xs muffler.
I personally like the sound. Was very raspy with my MBRP before, but the Borla now sounds great.

However, i am not a fan of the almost non-existent clearance on my 2wd cross member.
