Just ordered up a 52L case from Roam. love the look of them but haven't seen too many 52L's out there. Curious as to what you guys are storing in them and where you keep/mount them. Pics would be great! Thanks!

I keep the following in the Pelican case which is mounted to my roof rack:
    -SmittyBilt snatch strap
    -Bubba Rope tow strap
    -(2) shackles
    -jumper cables
-portable vehicle starter (this doubles as a portable power supply for your charging needs)
-pry-bar/crow-bar (whatever you wanna call it)
-collapsible shovel (I'm debating getting a full size shovel and mounting to my roof and ditching the collapsible one)
    -roll of 550lb para-cord
-gloves (any pair of work gloves from Tractor Supply will work)

I personally like to keep all my recovery gear on my roof for easy access incase of emergency. I also have my hi-lift jack and Smittybilt traction boards mounted to my roof rack.

Everything I mount to my roof rack is mounted as follows, in case you're wondering:
    -Carriage bolt, washer, nut
-Whatever piece of gear you're mouning
    -Flanged wingnut

BTW, I drilled (6) holes in my Pelican case to mount it. I'd recommend this because unless you drill into the case, you'll have to hold it on by a strap or synch it down. Drilling is preferred. TONYA 10.jpg

Did you buy it for the looks? What did you plan on putting in it?

    Mine lives in the bed
Keep small amount of tools the size is great for me to take in and out when I need it. Also keeps the overall weight down

Yup this is my intended purpose
Keeps small things dry and outside the cab - under the locked bed/tonneau cover
