So I bought some new rims 17 inch +25 mm of set 5.5 back space. Will they rub if I buy 265/70/17 tires and I am not lifted. Hopefully I can return them if there is potential for rubbing. Thanks in advance.

Struggling with something similar to replace oem tires with no lift or suspension changes on a DCLB Sport Premium. Looking to use existing oem wheels as winters for 265/70 17 Blizzak DM-V2s and get new rims for 265/70 17 Cooper AT 4s to use rest of time. Like the looks of Method 704s but I'm not sure if they're too wide a rim (8.5 width with a 0 offset vs. OEM 7.5 width with a 30 offset) - maybe overthinking it....

    What wheels did you grab?

Lots of info on existing threads - checkout site nav on the home page "wheels & tires" etc
