Tow capacity noob question

I have a 2020 pre runner SR Tacoma 4 cylinder
purchased it with no trailer hitch.
I added a trailer hitch to it from another Tacoma. can I still tow the 6,500lb capacity? Or do I need to do anything special to the engine?

I am planning on buying a camper trailer for the Tacoma.

 

I wouldn’t want to tow 6,500 lbs with the V6 3.5.

Anyways, the 2020 brochure says 3,500 Lbs with tow package on the I4.

i dont recomment it.
get a full size truck if your going to pull 6500 lbs

3500lbs for 4 banger.

I would suggest a roof top tent for a 4 cylinder as an alternative.
