Hey I got a question for you fellow Tacoma people. I have a 2019 double cab 4 cylinder Tacoma that I love. I was going to try and install the turn signals in the mirrors for my truck that does not have them. I was wondering if anybody could tell me how to pop off the Mirror covers that are on my truck. And I wanted to ask if anyone knows if the wiring harness in my mirrors now will work with the installation of new turn signals in them? I wanted to try and install the turn signals and the new mirror covers for the turn signals.

New side mirror assemblies - not just new covers due to the light indicators need mounting.
Run power wires to the front or rear turn signals for power. ~ through the door, Into the cab and where you want to splice them for power. Front headlight turn or rear tail light turn. Or a more central wire location.

might be a simpler way but as concise as I can word it.

I was able to find a used set of mirrors for my truck that had the turn signals in them. The new set of mirrors have the heated mirror defrost feature in them. Anyone know how I can power up the heated mirror feature?
