Somehow my battery died overnight and this morning I jumped started it and when I did I got a check engine light code P0335 which is the crankshaft position sensor and I also got a warning light that says trac off. Is this normal when battery dies?

I would reset the light (with a scanner or unhooking the battery for a minute). If it comes back on, you should have it checked. I've seen plenty of CELs come on after jump starting or when the battery/alternator go bad. Wigs out the system sometimes. Best to reset it before spending the money on a diag in case it's nothing. That's if there aren't any drivability issues of course.
