Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
I couldn't get that in my area. I'd be in the $40-$50 range; $50 for the two tone

They seem to be selling great for $50. I guess I’m pricing them right. I’ve sold about 17 of them.

Nice work. Marketing a hand made item can be a tough thing. Of course your time is valuable but people are cheap. I would say you should be able to get $75 each. More for the ones with different species laminated together. Just don’t be insulted when people say it is too expensive. You have to do it b/c you love doing it.

Had a guy offer me $30. I can’t stand it when people ask for a ridiculous discount!

I can imagine that didn’t go well. Easy to say No Thank You just to end the conversation.

Counter offer by adding $25 to the asking price. Repeat as necessary with a genuine smile on your face. Tell him you enjoy conversations not based in reality. He won’t stay around long.

You should bring a rough cut, unfinished piece of wood with an outline of WV drawn on it and have with you. For most people you can use it to show them what you start with so they understand how much work you have to put in for the finished product. You can also offer to sell it to those more “frugal” customers who want to low-ball you. Just tell them it is the “slightly unfinished” version of your clock that you sell for $25 for those customers that want a good deal and don’t mind doing a little work themselves.

    I do.
*It’s not the new one, I think the only difference is the motor.

*edit from the Festool owners group. Not sure if you need more info.

Do you send the end grain boards through your planer?

    sweet

I already found those dims but they don't answer my question

I'm roughly laying out my cabinet sizes along my chopsaw wall for electrical and dust collection routes

I need to know how wide the dropped section of countertop needs to be in order to allow the saw to swing fully left and fully right without contacting sides, also how far from finished wall to fence with saw far enough from wall for all functions to work as well as height to top of handle from saw table when head is up

I’ve only made two end grain boards. I planed both of them with my Dewalt. I built a “frame” around it to minimize tearout. It worked out well.

I just got it from a friend. I’ve also torn most of the drywall off in the garage so I can run wire and insulate. I’ll set it up on a table and take measurements on the one wall that still has drywall later tonight.
