Glad the wife is okay..........now she's on the hook for unlimited BJs for you until another truck is had right? :D Sorry, sucks, just trying to look at the bright side....she's OK and she owes you, lol. Be careful so nothing happens while driving her vehicle until you get another truck so you don't loose the balance of power.

They will only total your truck if the repairs cost more than the truck is worth. I went though this about a year ago (rolled my truck down a hill after swerving from a deer). They will probably want you to take it to a shop to get looked at and get an estimate.

Glad to hear you two are alright and good luck with the truck.

I've always been told that in order to total a vehicle, the damages have to amount to 75% or more of the vehicles value.

Thanks bro that does make me feel a little better. I figured you are right though, getting the truck fixed and back on the road is whats gonna take the time. I'm already gettin impatient because I miss drivin my truck with my buds down to the lake and what not. But God knows when it'll be time for me to drive it again, and then it will happen.

I would just be worried about how it drives after that if it is repaired. I know when my step mom got t boned in her ford exploder, they had to replace the frame and a bunch of other crap. it never drove right again. she ended up selling it a year or so later.

Well they totalled the truck. Now I'm just waiting to see how much money they will be offering. I'm kinda torn on how I feel. I really liked that truck you know and I'm sure I'm not gonna get enough to just replace the exact truck with exact same mileage and all. But if it were repaired it may not have driven correctly. Now I'm just in limbo waiting to see how much they will offer
